LAB SCHOLARSHIP

The London Athletic Booster Scholarship was created to recognize the achievements of our student-athletes. The London Athletic Booster will award 6 non-renewable scholarships in the amount of $2500 each to LHS graduating Seniors who meet the eligibility.

 

Selection Process

The scholarship committee will review applications. The scholarship committee will consist of at least three community members. In choosing recipients of scholarships, committee members will consider the entire application.

Application Procedure

  • LHS 2026 graduating Senior

  • LAB active membership (family or individual; paid) by September 1, 2025.

  • Participated in LHS Athletics in some capacity during their high school experience.

  • Complete the online form below or print and email application to londonboosterclub@gmail.com

  • Include all requested information in application.

  • Application must be completed and received by 4:00 pm on Friday, April 17, 2026.

  • Scholarship winners must enroll in an undergraduate or vocational institution for the first time in the Fall of 2026.

  • Include Athlete's name and “Scholarship Application” in the subject line.

  • High School Resume:

    • Include high school sports participated in during high school, including awards/honors earned

    • School-related activities participated in during high school and offices/awards earned

    • Non-school related community service activities partipated/volunteered in during high school

  • Typed 200-300 word essay using the following prompt:

    • Reflect on your experience participating in London Athletics. What has being part of the program meant to you personally? In your response, describe how your involvement has influenced your character, values, and overall outlook on life. Consider the experiences you have had, the relationships you have built with teammates and coaches, and the challenges you have faced along the way. How have these moments contributed to your personal growth, and in what ways has your time with London Athletics helped shape you into the person you are today?

Letter of Recommendation (emailed separately):

  • Coach, teacher or administrator recommendation letters should be emailed separately by the application deadline.

  • Letters are not to be submitted by the athlete or family member of the athlete.

  • Recommendation letters should be emailed to londonboosterclub@gmail.com by Friday, April 17, 2026 at 4:00 pm.
